• The 2005- 2006 Scholarship Applications will be available January 3-March 11.
• The student can pick up the application from the Cadena Center, Financial Aid , and EOPS , or of course they can download it.
• The application must be turned in to our office by March 11, 2005 before we close at 1pm.
• Students need to submit all required material along with the Scholarship Form in order to receive their scholarship award.

Scholarship Calendar

January - March - Applications are available to students.

Mid-March - Deadline for submitting applications.

April -The Scholarship Committee selects recipients; FC divisions submit their list of awardees.

May -Letters are sent out informing the students of their award status.

August -The first disbursement of the scholarship award is given. 

January -The second disbursement of the scholarship award is given.

Establish a Foundation Scholarship

In order to establish a new scholarship, the minimum amount required is $1,000. Once the fund is established, the principle is never touched; only the interest generated is awarded. Of course, additional donations to the fund are always welcome.

As a scholarship donor, you may establish the criteria. The usual criteria includes the following:

• Full-time student who has completed 24 units at Fullerton College
• Minimum G.P.A. of 3.00
• The student may be either continuing at Fullerton College or must be receiving an A.A. from Fullerton College and continuing at a four-year university or college

The award is typically disbursed in two payments: half in the fall and, upon successful completion of 12 units with a 3.00 G.P.A., the remaining half in the spring. The recipient may be selected by the Fullerton College Foundation Scholarship Committee, by a specific division, or by some other committee/person.
